Located in the heart of the historic centre of Malaga and surrounded by two nazari walls, MIMMA gathers one of the most complete private collections in Europe, with more than 400 instruments of different periods, countries and cultures. It raises a clear introduction to music, using the most advanced technologies to get closer to the musical knowledge by the use of their sensory faculties.

MIMMA is a very instructive museum and it has a high level of participation of the visitor, it acts also as an activity and dissemination center of everything related to music. With the aim of fostering a public approach to the music experience, we offer a circuit in which the visitor interacts with the museum through panels, Please Play and audiovisual modules, interactive stations and scenery that introduce the visitor to music.
