MIMMA gathers one of the most complete private collections in Europe, with more than 400 instruments of different periods, countries and cultures, all on exhibition. The instruments are distributed into 11 rooms, that show the evolution of the music and the different cultures associated to the same.

In each area of the exhibition journey, the visitor may explore a cultural region and recognize the musical roots through the interactive installations of musical identity.

The exhibition that is proposed at MIMMA situates the visitor to dialog with the actual exhibition. Through the signs of Please Play the public is encouraged to learn through proper physical experimentation.
